Despite strong opposition by the Chamber, the House passed 241-185, H.R. 800, the Employee Free Choice Act. The Chamber strongly opposed a procedural motion in the Senate, which failed 51-48, to proceed with consideration of H.R. 800, the Employee Free Choice Act.
